Sugar Gliders are known to have a “sweet tooth”, and they also have a fold of skin

from their front feet to their back feet which helps them glide – which is how they got their name!

Sugar gliders ability to glide when they spread out their furred fold of skin is similar to the Flying Squirrel. But that is the only thing they have in common with the Flying Squirrel.
