Tell your Representatives: Vote "No" on Devestating Environmental Bill!

Dear Omss, Imagine an America with no endangered species protection, no federal funding specifically for migratory bird conservation, and scant ability to protect our vanishing wetlands. This shocking possibility could become a reality if the U.S. House of Representatives gains passage of a new environmental spending bill.  Will you help us fight it? H.R. 2584 is one of the worst assaults on birds and other wildlife ever to come before Congress. The bill is loaded with devastating funding cuts and anti-environmental provisions that will wreak havoc on our land, water, air, and wildlife. This includes gutting the Endangered Species Act, the Neotropical Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the North American Wetlands Conservation Act, and state wildlife grants. We need you to act now to tell your Representative to vote against these funding cuts and anti-environmental provisions and to vote "NO" on H.R. 2584.
