Being raised in the more remote areas of northern Minnesota helped instill a love of nature and keen observation of wildlife. His work for the past 3 years has moved from documentation to expression--primarily to assist others to experience the moments of beauty that surround each of us. In addition to work with Hawkwatch International and The Nature Conservancy, Gerry's work was recognized in 2009 as one of the top 100 NANPA photographers. |
